Follow the route which, in the past, was taken by pilgrims, and have a view of the magnificent scenery of the Val de Creuse and Black Valley which inspired many artists. This journey will take you from La Châtre, dear town to George Sand, to Gargilesse, ranked among the most beautiful villages of France, going through the magnificent romanesque basilica of Neuvy-Saint-Sépulcre. A must : the frescoes of the Gargilesse church. Distance covered each day : between 9 to 18 miles.
